the loop
a 0.69 mile backyard loop carved into the hillside in lyle, washington. the map below shows the full circuit with key spots marked. dots are approximate for now and will be refined as the course evolves.

cat lap is intentionally simple: you leave the backyard, follow the loop, and return to the same start/finish every lap. the terrain and micro-features keep it interesting when the lap count gets high.

the loop is designed to be fully runnable. corners and micro-climbs stack up as the hours go by, especially in the fixed-time and last cat formats.
mix of sun and shade depending on the time of day. expect columbia river gorge conditions and plan gear accordingly.
